Year 5 and 6 just had a fantastic time on their excursion to the Brewongle Environmental Centre. When we arrived we were told about a tawny frogmouth called ‘Mopoke’ that had recently died.

It was our turn then to become CSI investigators and find out why Mopoke had died. We had to complete a variety of experiments including water testing, food chains, footprints, hazards and food/shelter availability.

Sadly at the end we discovered that Mopoke had died from rat poisoning!
