Anti Bullying Awards
This term we have introduced an Anti Bullying program across
the school. Each week the children will participate in
a lesson that promotes positive behaviour. This week we
have been talking about “KEEPING OUR HANDS AND OUR
FEET TO OURSELVES”. Each teacher will choose one
child from their class to receive a special award every
Friday. If your child comes home with this award it may
be nice to hang it up and make a fuss, encouraging further
positive behaviour.
Student Goals
All of the children’s Term 2 goals have now been
sent home. Please ensure you are working with your child
at home to help them achieve their goal by the end of the
term. If you have any questions about your child’s
goal or what you need to be doing at home, please make
an appointment to see your child’s classroom teacher
at an appropriate time.
Kindergarten Enrolments
Barnier Public School will be starting to take Kindergarten
enrolments for 2010 at the end of Term 2. Please keep
this in mind if you have young siblings staring next
year.
News Topics
Just a reminder that the children are asked to talk about
their favourite food for news next week. Taste tests
are more then welcome!!
Education Week
We hope to see many of you during open classrooms next
Thursday for our Education Week celebrations. Kindergarten
rooms will be open from 10.55am until 11.25am.
