We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the
parents/caregivers who attended the Reading Club Training
session on 5th May, 2009. It was wonderful to see so
many eager parents/caregivers supporting their children.
We hope you gained a better understanding of the strategies
used at school for decoding and comprehension.
The launch of the Reading Club was a great success. It
is wonderful to see the enthusiasm of all involved. We
are impressed with the fantastic response from the many
parents, teachers and children participating. The Reading
Club is a great opportunity to spend individual time with
your child while interacting with books.
Lastly, I would like invite volunteers to run Multilit
Folders for Stage 2 and 3 children. If you are able to
spare some time please contact Melissa Hayhow. Training
and support will be provided.
