In
2008 Barnier Public School began with 23 classes.
However, due to our increasing numbers we will begin
Term 2 with 24 classes.
As part of the public education we are able to offer
class sizes smaller than other education systems. As
per the Department of Education and Training policy there
are maximum class sizes in the first 3 years of schooling.
These are:
Kindergarten: Maximum 20 students per class
Year 1: Maximum 22 students per class
Year 2: Maximum 24 students per class
